Cameron Solutions LLC is a Arizona-based small business providing Managed Services relating to the Information Technology realm. Cameron Solutions business operations are digital in nature, and so our business operations occur at/through our website at https://www.cameron-solutions.com and related web services.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Typically Cameron Solutions will only collect detailed private information such as home address, email addresses or other web related data, etc if and when it is necessary to complete services for you (our customer) or to provide you with recommendations for further assistance. However, this data is collected during our checkout process when purchasing technical support services, monthly cloud backup services, enterprise administration hours, etc. All data collected via our purchasing system found here at https://www.cameron-solutions.com and https://billing.cameron-solutions.com will be converted to long-term financial records and the digital copies of this data will be disposed of on an annual basis. This is an effort on our part to limit the ability of nefarious agents (hackers) gaining access to critical personal financial information.

Cameron Solutions does not collect personal biometric data, passwords, password reset criteria, etc at any time. As such, it will be necessary to provide our teams with the current password during EACH AND EVERY technical support interaction.

Cameron Solutions does not usually allow comments or other feedback on our public website interfaces. However, if and when Cameron Solutions provide the opportunity for our users to provide public-facing feedback – this feedback will be purged annually in accordance with our data retention policy for online services.

The web frameworks utilized by Cameron Solutions have been configured to collect data from our users only when absolutely necessary, and in most cases this only applies to the checkout (purchasing) process.

Cameron Solutions offers a number of contact request forms on our websites, and associated customer sites, demo environments, test systems, etc. These contact forms collect data for customer call-back purposes, and are purged in accordance with the Cameron Solutions retention policy governing online services.

Cameron Solutions utilizes web cookies to track our users across our website and associated billing and support portals to ease login issues and assist our users in finding the content they desire.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. Analytics

Cameron Solutions utilizes web analytics to help us gauge the most important content to our users. However, this analytic data has been stripped of any/all identifiable information other than the originating IP address (your computer’s temporary internet address.) This analytic data is fed into reporting systems we use internally, and then disposed of promptly, eliminating even the IP address from our records.

Who we share your data with

Cameron Solutions does not share, sell, or otherwise profit from the personal data of our users. Your payment related data may be shared with third party vendors for the sake of completing the purchase, such as is the case with our payment gateway vendor PayPal (https://www.paypal.com.) This information is shared only via secure protocols, and is only shared to facilitate the payment process.

Connection specific information may be shared with our security and routing vendor CloudFlare (https://www.cloudflare.com) as well, in an effort to provide our users absolute security and performance while utilizing our web services. Cloudflare will scan incoming user connections to detect malicious virus code, hacker-like behavior, denial of service attacks, etc and prevent them before they begin. This leads to better overall website performance for our users, and higher security for our customers.

How we protect your data

Cameron Solutions has implemented a multi-tiered system to protect our customer and general user data including Cloudflare routing and distribution services, complex server monitoring and security testing, regular data purges and reviews of our internal processes. With that being said, breaches of web servers do occur and Cameron Solutions has a full breach response plan in place.

What data breach procedures we have in place

The primary line of defense in the Cameron Solutions arsenal is a complex monitoring system that includes simple alert and alarm systems, update and upgrade reviews, distributed data storage, offsite backups and disaster recovery planning, and much more. This system is backed by a team of experts working regularly to ensure our customer safety is priority number 1.

In the event of a breach, our first response involves identifying the extent of the breach including what data has been compromised, which users are affected, etc. This information will then be communicated to the appropriate authorities, as well as the affected groups. Cameron Solutions will work closely with authorities and end users to ensure minimal fall-out.

Cameron Solutions will immediately transition into security-recovery mode, meaning that all critical systems logins, network access protocols, passwords and other biometric lockout data, etc will be reset and reissued under extreme scrutiny, and user data will be moved to a new secure location once the breach has been contained and appropriate measures have been implemented for our customers.

What third parties we receive data from

Cameron Solutions will occasionally receive third party analytic or user data from our vendors such as Google, Yelp, Twitter/Facebook, etc. This data is used to provide optimal solutions to incoming customers, and ensure proper historical documentation. All data we receive is purged in accordance with the Cameron Solutions data retention policy and/or the associated data retention policy of the third party vendor.
